We
started our great love affair with Boxers in 1988 with the purchase of Bosco. He
was the best, so intelligent, loving and loyal. In 1994 we decided to get
Bosco a buddy, hence Heidi. Chance came along in 1995. Rob gave me
Patches (Cinnamon Patch) for my birthday in 1996.
Then in April of 1997 came a devastating time for all of us. Our Chance and Patches were attacked by a wild cat! Chance was killed and
Patches was barely hanging onto life, her body broken and torn. After many
hours of agonizing, we helped her to the Bridge.
In June, about 6 weeks after the attack, our Bosco's big old heart gave
out and he joined his friends at
the Bridge.
I became obsessive about Heidi, wouldn't let her out of my sight.
Rob kept insisting we go get another Boxer. After a few months I relented
and we bought Rocky.
Ok, so we didn't stop at Rocky......then came Molly, Delilah, Carrie and
Samson......
